【轉知】UTAR International Youth Programme 2027

Greetings from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia!

We are pleased to invite you to join the UTAR International Youth Programme 2027: Digital Creativity & Cultural Discovery, an exciting 8-day programme designed to provide young people with a unique opportunity to explore digital creativity, experience Malaysian culture and build meaningful international connections.

Throughout the programme, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore Digital Creativity: Participate in hands-on digital literacy training, digital content creation and learn about the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

  • Discover Malaysian Heritage: Explore Penang's historical attractions, local food culture and heritage sites.

  • Gain Industry Exposure: Visit companies, learn from industry professionals and gain insights into the working environment.

  • Experience Cultural Diversity: Take part in Malaysian cultural workshops, community storytelling and oral history activities.

  • Create Digital Stories: Develop and share personal digital stories through the “My Story, My Malaysia” digital storytelling activity.

  • Explore Kuala Lumpur: Discover iconic landmarks, including the Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC), Dataran Merdeka and Petaling Street.

Programme Details

📅 Date:  17–24 January 2027 (8 Days)
📍 Venue: Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar Campus, Malaysia
👥 Target Participants: University students and staff

 

Participant Fee

  • USD 700 per person
 
Special Rates for MoU Partner Institutions
  • Group of 5 participants: One accompanying staff member is entitled to a fee waiver.
  • Group of 10 participants: USD 600 per participant, with the participation fee waived for one accompanying staff member.

The programme fee includes accommodation, local transportation, programme materials and tours. Airfare, visa fees, travel insurance, meals and personal expenses are excluded.

Additionally, airport transfer arrangements from KLIA/KLIA2 will be coordinated for registered participants.
