Global Conference on Shaping the future agenda of SDGs in Asia: The Innovative & Transformative Approach

The National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, is inviting our domestic and global partner universities to participate in a conference that focuses on three main areas of SDGs in Asia: international research collaboration, practical solutions to the community, and university social responsibility.

In 2021, NCKU initiated the WUN Global Research Group – SDGs in Asia with the support from WUN. We are glad to have researchers around the world involving in our research group, creating collaboration and ideating effective solutions to the most critical issues facing in Asia. At the end of 2022, the research teams are expected to reach a milestone and move forward to the next phase. They will take this incredible opportunity to share their finding and identification through international collaboration.

Moreover, the event will be graced by Dr. Mohd Wira Mohd Shafiei, the Director of the Centre for Global Sustainability Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and Prof. Tony Capon, the Director of Monash Sustainable Development Institute, to share their insights into SDGs leadership and practices. We are delighted to have their participation in person to foster in-depth conversations with our audiences.

During the event, we will also announce the information of 2023 WUN Global Research Group- SDGs in Asia and Call for a new round of proposals. Hereby we sincerely invite you to join us in person and further engage within the global research academia.
