The university's general terms and conditions for international faculty encompass:

1.    Duration and Engagement Scope for Teaching

·Duration: International Faculty will be engaged for a flexible period of two to six weeks of teaching assignment.

·Attractive Honorarium: In recognition of the valuable contributions made by the International Faculty, PU offers a generous honorarium for teaching and scholarly contributions.

2.    Research and Development:

PU is dedicated to nurturing a vibrant research culture and achieving academic excellence. The research initiatives are aimed at elevating the university's standing and obtaining national and international recognition. These initiatives involve development of Centers of Excellence and publication of high-impact research papers that significantly contribute to society.

·Incentive Structure: To motivate and reward the diligent research efforts of international adjunct faculty, PU offers an attractive incentive structure.

3.    Collaborative Work Environment:

·Teaching Environment: PU’s International Adjunct Faculty will have the opportunity to conduct teaching sessions on vibrant PU campus.

·Access to Resources: These scholars will have access to various resources including well-equipped office spaces, advanced information technology facilities, library privileges, and the convenience of other facilities available on campus.

4.    Travel and Accommodation:

·Travel Arrangements: PU will arrange economy-class round-trip flights from the international faculty’s home university to PU subject to teaching a minimum number of hours agreed upon.

·Boarding and Conveyance: International faculty will enjoy comfortable accommodation and delectable meals, either on-campus or in a carefully selected hotel. Local conveyance for their convenience will be thoughtfully arranged by PU.

5.    Enriching Cultural Experience:

PU believes in providing a holistic experience to International Adjunct Faculty. To showcase the cultural heritage of Karnataka, PU will arrange a memorable cultural tour lasting two nights and three days. During this tour, PU will sponsor stay in select hotels or in beautiful resorts.
