I would like to invite your faculty to join in a collaboration with St. John’s faculty in our Global Online Learning Exchange (GOLE) program. GOLE is an innovative, active-learning approach modeled after similar programs such as ENLIGHT in Europe and COIL in the U.S.   

The virtual exchange can take the form of a project, activity, or full-semester collaboration aimed at increasing both traditional course content and intercultural competency and is embedded within each faculty member’s existing course. Faculty members co-lead and co-teach the exchange. Courses and collaborations for the exchange can be discipline-specific, or cross disciplinary.

Classroom-based and student-to-student interactions are conducted using technology that best suits the needs of the exchange, such as Canvas, Cisco Webex, various Google tools, WhatsApp, and others.

We currently have three faculty members in search of partners.  I have attached information about their courses.
