Tuition fees payment
學雜費繳費

You can use Student ID number to log in NUK Tuition fees payment system and print the payment notice online from August.31 to September.11, 2023. Students can either “A. Register and pay at NUK on site” or “B. Remit by wire transfer from abroad”.
取得本校學生證號碼後，自2023年8月31日至9月11日可線上列印註冊繳款單，學生可選擇”A.到校辦理報到及現場繳費”或是”B.自國外匯款至本校帳戶”

Taiwan’s epidemic prevention policy
台灣防疫政策

New policy will be updated and announced by Taiwan authority depending on the situation. Each of you have to take our advice for the possible arrival time, and have to notify us of your flight time by email or FB group before making a flight reservation.
配合國家防疫政策，依據中央疫情指揮中心公告，建議抵台日期我們之後會透過信件及臉書群組公告日期。所有新生皆需依照本校建議抵台時程預訂班機，並回信告知或在FB群組中登記告知您的班機抵達時間。

About Visa application
關於簽證申請

To apply for student visa, you have to get the admission letter issued by NUK in advance. If you do it via an agency, remember to print and forward this letter to the agency. Once you get your student visa, please must scan it to us, then we can discuss your flight time.
同學向駐外館申請簽證時，必須先取得本校錄取通知書，如果同學有委託簽證代辦單位，請記得要將該文件轉給代辦單位，以免延誤簽證申辦。一旦拿到簽證，請務必掃描給國際處，才能討論搭機時間

學歷驗証

If your diploma and transcript haven’t legalized by Taiwan Abroad Office, please contact the Taiwan Embassy Abroad Office in which your Alma mater is located and near to apply for the notarization service. Please note a notarized diploma and transcript are compulsory documents to register at NUK, so you need to bring them with you as you head for Taiwan.
請帶著“已經驗證過的學歷(包含畢業証書及在校成績單)來台灣辦理註冊，如同學的學歷還沒驗証，請務必與”鄰近你的母校所在地的台灣駐外館辦事處或僑務委員會保薦單位"聯繫，申請驗證你的學歷資料，再帶過來台灣。

其他重要事項

(1)To students already in Taiwan holding a visa for Mandarin Chinese Learning or other reasons and wish to change a new visa for degree pursuing on site: Please note the advice we got from the immigration agency is “you need to obtain a new visa 30 days in advance of your current ARC and visa getting expired” to ensure your stay in Taiwan is legal with a valid visa. *As we know, it usually takes 4~8 working days for immigration office to issue a new visa for the applicant. For further enquiries, please contact your immigration officer.
如果你是目前人在台灣學華語或其他來台事由的外籍人士，希望在本校開學前留台換證：請確認你的華語簽證效期是否與本校註冊日有重疊，一般而言換證需要4~8個工作天，依移民署過往提供給同學的建議是”新簽證要在原簽證及ARC過期前的30天取得”，以確保你能合法留台換簽，相關疑問請主動洽詢移民署了解。
(2) All the notices to the admitted students will only be sent through FB group after this email. If you have personally nominated an agency to help you with study abroad matters, please MUST offer us the contact information of your agent. The admitted student must take the full responsibility of the delay consequences if it is your personal failure of missing our announcement in the FB group.
即日起，所有來台留學事務本處將會透過電子信箱及FB新生群組公告通知，如同學你有委託留學代辦協助你，請務必來信提供本處代辦單位的聯絡資料，如為個人因素錯過公告訊息而延誤出國，請自行負責。

Overseas Freashman must fill in the following documents
境外新生必須填寫

1. 境外生綜合紀錄表 (貼上兩吋彩色照片1張) National University of Kaohsiung Overseas Students Form (please stick a 2-inch color print headshot)
2. 緊急醫療家長授權同意書 (未滿20歲必填) Authorization for Emergent medical care (do not have to fill in if you are over 20 years old)
3. 土銀存款戶法定代理人同意書 (未滿20歲必填) Authorization for bank account application (do not have to fill in if you are over 20 years old)
4.非港澳陸生者需備 「TOCFL」A2證明或華語文檢測成績相當「TOCFL」A2以上證明
Except students from Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China should hand in the proof of A2 level on the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) or other certified Mandarin Chinese proficiency tests that equivalent to TOCFL A2 level.
5.列印1~4表單後，請一併附上「護照(居留證)影本1份」、「分發通知書或錄取通知書影本1份」、「高中畢業證書影本1份」繳交。

Print document 1~4 and hand in with the copy of your passport, admission letter and high school diploma.
