Greetings from the SATU Presidents' Forum International Secretariat.

We are pleased to announce that the 2026 SATU Joint Research Scheme (JRS) is now open and invites research proposals from Principal Investigators across SATU member universities. We hope you will join us in strengthening regional collaboration and contributing to impactful, forward-looking research partnerships.

Launched in 2012, the JRS serves as a matching platform for scholars across SATU member institutions to establish international research collaborations. Over the years, the scheme has gained significant momentum, with the number of matched projects growing from 61 in 2019 to 174 in 2020. This growth reflects the important role JRS continues to play in fostering meaningful academic partnerships. Please note that SATU will not provide funding assistance for JRS.

Please complete your submission by April 27, 2026. Following submission, we will circulate your proposal to identify potential co-investigators.
